Family Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Family Advisory Committee is to advise, support, and grow the Family Resource Center.

What is the Family Advisory Committee?
The Family Advisory Committee (FAC) is a group of 8-12 caregivers who have received services from the Family Resource Center (FRC). Caregivers are defined by themselves and may include parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, foster parents, and anyone who cares for a child who has received CCC Family Resource Center services. Every effort will be made to ensure the FAC represents the wide variety and identities of families who receive FRC services. What are the FAC's responsibilities?

Participate in a minimum of 9 out of 11 regular monthly meetings. Committee members will determine the meeting time and location. Meetings occur every month except for July

Learn about the Quality Standards, Family Support Principles, and Protective Factors

Show ambition and leadership to create your own goals as part of the FAC

Represent the FRC to the community and promote FRC activities

Volunteer at least 2 hours a month in a variety of ways (clothing closet, tabling, host open play, donation center, assist with events, etc.)

Recruit volunteers to support FRC services

Serve as a positive peer model to parents when in the FRC space and when representing the FAC in the community

What are the benefits of being a FAC member?

Receive two stipends of $100; one in December and one in June
