Have your children outgrown their early childhood clothing and equipment? Consider donating to CCC's Early Childhood Clothing Closet so other Douglas County families can put them to good use.

How to donate?

We try to make it as easy as possible to donate your items.

On the lower east side of the CCC building at 346 Maine St. is our Donation Center.
Go east on 4th St past the playground.
Turn left at the far side of the circle drive and before Alabama St. Follow the road along the side of the building.
Look for the Donation Center sign on the building. Pull your car up to the door. You can stop there briefly as you unload your donations in the hallway.
No need to park or get your children out of your car.
You may donate clothing anytime between 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Please read below for guidance on what is accepted.

Clothing

We accept clothing from premie to 5T. Clothes should be cleaned before donation. Please make sure clothes are in good condition and are something you would still have your child wear if they could.

We also accept maternity clothing. Help another mom get through her pregnancy without having to purchase a whole new wardrobe.

Equipment

We are one of the few places in Douglas County that accepts early childhoood equipment. Items that we accept included but are not limited to strollers, exersaucers, bouncy seats, high chairs, and pack and plays. Items shoud be clean, in working order, with all the relevant parts/hardware, and whenever possible -- please provide the instructions.

We do accept breast pumps.

We do not accept car seats or bases, but instead partner with Safe Kids Douglas to get families a new car seat.
