Responsive Caregiving

Responsive Caregiving is a 6-week free caregiving class to strengthen your family through connection. We'll learn about brain development, brain-body connection, attunement, and strategies and resources to increase protective factors.
 

The next session runs on Thursday nights from September 14 - October 19. Each session starts with dinner from 5:30 - 6 pm, followed by the Responsive Caregiving Class & Childcare from 6 - 7 pm.

We have a second session running November 2, 9, 16, and 30, Decem
ber 7, 14.


All classes are at Kennedy Early Childhood Center, 1605 Davis Road (parking lot off of Harper Street; front entrance is by the flagpole).

Volunteer:

Provide care for children whose care givers are in classes!

To allow care givers to focus on our classes, Community Children's Center provides care for children during Responsive Caregiving classes. We would love volunteers to help with this.  Join our team and help raise the bar in early child care in Douglas County!
